The B514 is a winding road in east County Fermanagh. It was originally part of the A34 and so on the main route from Dublin to Enniskillen and South Donegal. It gained its present number when the A34 was rerouted along the A39 to Maguiresbridge and is no longer signposted for Lisnaskea - Enniskillen traffic.
The road turns off the A34 at a triangular junction on the western side of Lisnaskea and heads west out of town along Gola Road, signposted Carry Bridge. The road is straight to begin with and soon reaches the River Colebrook, which it follows upstream past a caravan park before bending sharply left to cross the river. There's another largely straight section before the road starts to wind.
It's not long before the road to Carry Bridge (on the River Erne) turns off left, then the road becomes even more winding. The terrain here is gently undulating, so although remaining straight would increase the gradient it would not be excessive. Presently the road straightens out and continues to the northwest to enter Tamlaght and end at a T-junction on the A4.
