The B522 is a short link road on the outskirts of Derry.
The Northern Ireland Roads Service describe the B522 as running along Templemore Road. This means it starts on the A2 at the Branch Roundabout and heads northeastwards for about a quarter of a mile to the next roundabout, where it ends on the B521. As the B521 also ends at this roundabout most maps show the B522 as a continuation of that road, when it is given a number at all; our road is not numbered at all on signage here.
