Lasswade Junction is a junction on the Edinburgh City Bypass, one of only two with an unclassified road, Lasswade Road. It is a half Diamond design with west facing slips only, partly to avoid conflict with Gilmerton Junction which is not too far away to the east. Lasswade Road is, in a sense, a radial route which can be traced right into the city centre, but has never been classified. Having said that, it meets the A768 about a mile to the south at a TOTSO junction, and as such is one of the main routes into Lasswade. A short distance to the north, Lasswade Road meets Gilmerton Station Road at a small roundabout, and with the growth of Danderhall to the north, this pair of junctions is likely to become substantially busy in the near future.
