Quality St. Junction is the junction of the A90, which is multiplexed with the A902 through the junction, and Quality Street (B9085, formerly A902) in Davidson's Mains, Edinburgh. It primarily provides local access for the districts of Davidson's Mains and Silverknowes to the north, although light vehicles can use the B9085 to Granton and Leith as an alternative to the A902 (Telford Road); indeed the B9085 is the original route of the A902. The B9085 is provided with a left turn lane from the A90 a short distance to the west of the main junction, this link being shown on old maps, at which time it is likely to have been two-way.
It also provides access to the residential Craigcrook Road to the south, but movements are restricted: traffic wanting to turn right from the eastbound A90 must turn left into the link for the B9085, Quality Street then turn right into the mainline of Quality Street in order to cross the A90. This therefore removes one right turn movement at the main junction. Craigcrook Road provides an alternative route into the west end of Edinburgh via Ravelston Dykes Road, Ravelston Dykes, and Belford Road.
The area is undistinguished suburbia, with housing on most sides and the Royal High School to the northwest.
