The C100 is a strange horseshoe shaped road, running through Bellshill Industrial Estate. It starts on the A721 and heads north along Belgrave Street to meet the A725 Bellshill Bypass. The junction is a dumbbell, with the road name changing to James Street. The C100 then continues along James Street as it turns south and returns through the Righead Industrial Estate, running as far as Earn Avenue. Here the route comes to an end, with traffic having to zig-zag through the estate to rejoin the A721.
