This article is about the Class III road numbered C292 maintained by Cambridgeshire Council.
For other roads numbered C292, see C292.
For other roads numbered C292, see C292.
The C292 maintained by Cambridgeshire Council is a road in the centre of Cambridge with a distinctly countryside feel. It starts on Mitcham's Corner, and heads south over the River Cam. It then passes Jesus Green and Midsummer Common before meeting the C291 at the Four Lamps. It then continues south, passing New Square and Christ's Pieces, before ending at a T junction with Parker Street.
The southern section of the road is now bisected by bus gates, making the road impossible to drive (unless you are a bus, of course).
It is described in the freedom of information request[1] as being:
C292 SHORT STREET CAMBRIDGE
C292 EMMANUEL ROAD CAMBRIDGE
C292 VICTORIA AVENUE CAMBRIDGE
