This article is about the original B1047 in the centre of Cambridge.

The B1047 is given in the 1922 Road Lists as Cambridge (Park Side, Parker Street (part), Emmanuel Road, Victoria Avenue).
It started on the B1046 (now A603) Gonville Place and skirted the eastern edge of the city centre. It headed west as far as Christ's Pieces and then headed north across Midsummer Common, crossed the River Cam and ended on the A10 Milton Road at Mitcham's Corner.
The entire road is too close to the centre of town for the Council to be comfortable about its being used by traffic. It is therefore now unclassified. Emmanuel Road is now a bus gate.
