For the former B1047 in the city centre, see B1047 (Cambridge).
The B1047 is a short link road on the eastern edge of Cambridge. The road was unclassified for many years but had gained its number by the mid-1980s.
The road starts at traffic lights on the A1303 Newmarket Road. It heads north past the cemetery and soon crosses the city boundary. The road merges seamlessly into the next village, Fen Ditton. We pass the eastern end of the High Street and then reach open country just in time for the end of the road at A14 J34.
