In the British Isles
The E15 forms an east-coast route from Inverness to Dover via Perth, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Doncaster and London. It meets the E16/M8 at Edinburgh, the E18/A69 at Newcastle, the E20/E22/M62 at Ferrybridge, the E13/M18 at Doncaster, multiplexes with the E24/A14 between Huntingdon and Cambridge, and the E30 for a short stretch of M25 in Essex
Outside the British Isles
The E15 continues over the Channel in Calais and heads through France and Spain finishing at Algecirus in Southern Spain.
Beginning at Channel Tunnel terminal, the E15 heads south to Paris on the N216, A216, A26 and A1. The E15 heads around Paris on the A104 and N104 Francillienne, before taking the A6 to Lyon. At Lyon, the A6 becomes the A7 and the E15 follows that before taking the A9 to the border with Spain.
In Spain the E15 heads along the Mediterranean coast following the route of the A7 past Barcelona, Valencia, Alicante, Malaga, Marbella and finishing in Algecirus. It passes within 7 km of Gibraltar.
