In 1922, the B1048 was allocated to Victoria Road in Cambridge. This road cut off the corner between the A132 (later A604) Huntingdon Road and the A10 Milton Road.
The road was still numbered B1048 in the 1970s but has since been upgraded to become part of the A1134 Cambridge Ring Road.
