The Port of Cork is the main seaport serving Cork City, County Cork, and the south-west region of Ireland. Traffic handled by the port includes roll-on/roll-off freight and passenger ferry services to and from Roscoff in France and Santander in Spain.
The main deepwater port is situated at Ringaskiddy on the south-west side of Cork Harbour, some 15 km from the city centre, the port is served by the N28, which runs between here and the N40 Cork South Ring Road.
