Glanmire

Glanmire is a collection of 3 villages, Sallybrook, Brooklodge and Riverstown, which forms the town of Glanmire in County Cork, Ireland, in 2019, the town was transferred from Cork County Council to Cork City Council due to the boundary change which extended to Rochestown, Cork Airport, Ballincollig and Blarney.

The M8 bypasses Glanmire with a 6.3 km dual carriageway bypass.

Before opening of the M8, the town used to be a destination on the N8 where it had shops, gas stations, houses and schools in the town.
