Ballina is a town in the north of County Mayo in the western province of Connacht.
It is home to the Road Safety Authority (RSA), a statutory organisation with responsibility for driver testing and training, driver licensing, road safety research, driver education, vehicle standards, road safety information and awareness, and road transport enforcement functions in the Republic of Ireland.
