Stranorlar in County Donegal is a Terminal Destination on the N15 and the southwestern terminus of the N13 from Derry. Together with the adjoining town of Ballybofey (on the other side of the River Finn) it constitutes an important hub in the Co. Donegal road network, with routes radiating out to most corners of the county.
A bypass for the N13 south-east of Stranolar/Ballybofey has been proposed. This scheme encountered environmental objections in 2008 and now (in 2013) awaits funding to proceed.
