Navan, the county town of County Meath, is situated at the confluence of the Rivers Boyne and Blackwater some 45 km north-west of Dublin. With a population in 2016 of 31,689 it is the country's 10th largest urban settlement. Nearly a fifth of Navan's residents were born outside Ireland.
It is an Intermediate Destination on the N51.
