The B5400 was a short road in north Leicestershire. It was originally unclassified but gained its number in the early 1930s.
Starting on the A6 in Kegworth the road headed west along the High Street before leaving town along Ashby Road. After skirting the edge of the then-RAF Castle Donington the B5401 was crossed, before the road ended on the A453 on the near side of Isley Walton.
In 1970-71, the runway at East Midlands Airport was extended, and a new route for the B5400 was constructed to the south of the original, then upgraded to A5129 shortly afterwards in 1971-2.
