This article is about the original B5419 south of Leicester.

The B5419 was a short link road to the south of Leicester. The road was originally unclassified but gained its number in 1935. However, the nearby B5418 had been extended over its entire route by the 1970s, making the number redundant.
The road started on the B5366 Saffron Lane in Aylestone and headed southeastwards along Stonesby Avenue before crossing the Midland Main Line. After about the same distance again it entered Wigston Magna, ending on the A50 Leicester Road in the town centre.
