Marble Arch forms the large junction at the northern end of Park Lane. As a major junction on the London Inner Ring Road it is consequently very busy and is now signalised. It was modified in 1962 as part of the Park Lane dualling works.
In addition to the main roads, there is also an entrance to Hyde Park through North Carriage Drive and a junction with unclassified Great Cumberland Place to the north. Tyburn Way in the middle of the gyratory acts as a shortcut for buses only.
