A39 (Isle of Man)

The A39 runs from the A2 in the centre of Onchan to the A18 at Signpost Corner. It starts at a signalised T junction and heads north west, climbing quite steeply up Avondale Road as it passes the small shopping precinct and car parks. A double bend past Birchleigh Terrace then leads onto Hillberry Road, which is still gently climbing as it runs between modern housing estates, mostly backing onto the route, but a few older houses face onto the road. After a few sinuous bends, the route comes to an end at the mini roundabout at Signpost Corner, with the A18 continuing ahead.
