This article is about the original B27 between Onchan and Port Jack.

The original B27 was a short route in Onchan, running the full length of Royal Avenue. It started on the A2 in the centre of the village and headed south to reach the A11 at Port Jack. The listing states that it included Royal Avenue East and West, either side of the park. Neither the B27 nor A11 appear to have been included in the first allocation of classified routes on the Isle of Man, suggesting that both were added at the same time, at some point between 1926 and 1929. The route was wholly renumbered as the A35 before 1963, although it has since been curtailed approximately 80m short of the A11, with B roads connecting the two.
The Manx Government Circular 1814 of 17/08/1937 defines this route as: Royal Avenue Road, East and West, Onchan
