The A46 runs along Victoria Road between the A22 and the A2 in Douglas. It starts at a T junction on Broadway, a short distance up from the Promenade, and heads northeast, winding north past a selection of old, brightly coloured houses, with a couple of motorbike dealers and other businesses dotted along the roadside. The route is not particularly wide in places, but widens as it cuts across the green in front of Victoria Crescent. Heading north east again, it crosses a roundabout for a supermarket, and then curves northwards once more to end at another roundabout on the A2 near Governor's Bridge.
