The A5115 is a short primary link road to the east of Chester city centre. At one time the A41 mainline (and, prior to 1935, the northern end of the A529), it gained its current number when that road was moved onto the bypass in the 1940s.
The road starts at the Boughton gyratory system on the A51, which also provides access to the B5130. It heads east along the largely residential Christleton Road, which zigzags to become Whitchurch Road. The road soon ends at a signalised roundabout on the A41. This is a hamburger roundabout, with the A41 bypass running through the roundabout straight onto the A55 towards Wales.
