Route
In the British Isles
Starting at the port in Holyhead the E22 goes via Chester, Manchester, Leeds and Scunthorpe to Immingham and the port there. It multiplexes with the E05 at Warrington and the E20 from Warrington to Rawcliffe, meeting the E15 at Darrington, en route.
Overseas
The E22 continues through the Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, Latvia, and Russia to an eastern terminus at Ishim in the Tyumen Oblast of western Siberia. The route's total length is around 5,320 km.
