The T14, also called T42, was a British Trunk Road created in the 1936 Trunk Roads Act. It ran from the T5 at Stonebridge via the A45 to Birmingham, then A4123 to Wolverhampton, and then A41 to Birkenhead and the Queensway Tunnel.
Within the 1936 Act, Trunk Roads ceased at the boundaries of County Boroughs, which is why the logical routing of via A456 to bridge the gap between A45 and A4123 is not mentioned, because it was entirely within Birmingham County Borough.
