For the original B3331, also on the Isle of Wight, see B3331 (Ryde - St Helens).
For another current B3331, in Winchester city centre, see B3331 (Winchester).
The B3331 is a short B-road on the Isle of Wight, providing access to the port of Fishbourne and the ferry to Portsmouth. The road was originally unclassified but had gained its number by the mid-1940s.
The road starts at traffic lights on the A3054 a few miles west of Ryde and heads north into Fishbourne itself. The road is residential from the outset as we descend towards the coast. The road bears round to the right and then becomes two-lane in this direction. The left-hand lane is reserved for ferry traffic. If we continue in the right-hand lane we pass the ferry terminal, after which the road narrows and ends at the next road junction, although the road to the right is little more than a dirt track. The Fishbourne PH is just ahead.
The road is labelled as B3731 on Google Maps, and this number has also been used by various local businesses and the Isle of Wight Council, but it does not appear to have any official basis.
