If you want to go and see the yachts in Hamble, the B3397 is the road you've got to use, as it's the only way in! The road was originally unclassified but gained its number in the mid-1930s.
The road originally started at the A27/A3024 junction but the A3025 has been rerouted over its original northern end so our road now starts as a TOTSO with the A3025, carrying straight on southwards while that road turns right just before the suburbia ends and we find ourselves on farmland. There's a roundabout with the local road to Netley Abbey, before we cross the railway by Hamble station, which is some way out of the town proper. The road then gently bends round to head eastward to enter Hamble itself, before coming to a fairly inconspicuous stop in the High Street. You can go down the hill a few hundred yards to find all the boats.
