Towards the A90
The A9012 is a short link road through the western suburbs of Aberdeen. The road - and its number - appears to date to the 1940s.
The road starts at a roundabout where five roads meet, two being unclassified, two the A978 and the other the A9012. We head north along Hilton Drive then immediately TOTSO left into Rosehill Drive (the remainder of Hilton Drive is unclassified). We climb to the northwest along the nondescript residential road. At the far end we pass a couple of blocks of flats and end at a roundabout on the A92. The road ahead is unclassified.
