The C127C starts on the A9013, Holborn Street, near the centre of Aberdeen and heads west along Union Grove and Cromwell Road to the A90, which is met at a roundabout. Turning a little to the south west, it continues along Seafield Road and Countesswells Road as it works its way out of the city. After a short multiplex with the C128C at the Mains of Countesswells, it follows Blacktop Road across the new Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route to reach the council boundary at Easter Ord. The road continues a short distance, as the C127C (Aberdeenshire), to reach the B979.
