C157C (Aberdeen)

The C157C is a route heading north from Aberdeen Harbour, through the city centre, Gallowgate, Old Aberdeen, and Tillydrone, ending at its junction with the Great Northern Road on the A96. The route starts at the southern end of Marischal Street, following it north before creating a multiplex with Union Street on the A9013, westbound, for approximately 400 feet. At the junction with Broad Street, the route travels north through Gallowgate, before multiplexing with the Mounthooly Roundabout on the A96. The route leaves the roundabout north-eastward along Mounthooly before following King's Crescent, Spital, College Bounds and High Street northbound, travelling through Old Aberdeen. The route meets St Machar Drive on the A978, multiplexing westward for 0.2 miles before heading north along Tillydrone Avenue, then Tillydrone Road, before coming to a junction with Hayton Road and Gordon's Mills Road. At this junction, the route creates a loop, following both streets. The northern section of this split follows Gordon's Mills Road north, then west, until it meets Don Street, which continues west, then southeast, then southwest, until its finish at the junction with Great Northern Road on the A96. The southern section of this split follows Hayton Road southwest, then northwest, until it rejoins Don Street, heading south-westward to its termination.

Previously, there was confusion concerning the accuracy of this route's depiction, as the Don Street in Old Aberdeen had been mapped as the C157C in OpenStreetMap. However, this is a mistake as the route follows the Don Street in Tillydrone instead. Don Street in Old Aberdeen belongs to the U309C series of residential roads.
