The B371 was one of those short roads which existed only because in the 1922 classification system roads followed one continuous line and any "spur" would require a separate number.
The road joined the A317 and B365 on Walton Common. The junction, now in the suburbs of Weybridge, has been upgraded to a gyratory and so the ex-B371 comprises the southwestern section of the roundabout.
However, the B371 number is, if not dead, possibly undead, as the number does appear in some local government documentation.
