The B9110 is the former number of the Bo'ness town centre bypass. The route was originally unclassified but had gained its number by 1932;, and is now numbered as the A993. Prior to improvement, it was less suited as a bypass, because of sharp bends and poor end junctions, but it is now the main route across town and both ends of the ex-B9110 are now bypassed themselves.
Starting at the east end, the B9110 started as Acre Road, which is now only accessible from the A904, the A993 end being blocked up. The A993 then briefly follows the older route, before cutting the corner across the green at Drum Road and again at Drumside Terrace, these two roads being the old route of the B9110. The B9110 then followed Dean Road and crossed the A706 Linlithgow Road before continuing ahead down Snab Lane, which is now little more than a footpath, to terminate on the A904 once more. The diversion at the western end to avoid the northern part of Snab Lane was carried out first, in the early 1960s. The rest of the realignments appear to have been carried out after 1966, with the route renumbered as the A993 by 1971.
