B9126 Approach to double bend
The B9126 is a short link road west of Westhill in east Aberdeenshire. It was originally unclassified but had gained its number by 1932.
The road starts at a crossroads on the B977 in Lyne of Skene and heads east, signposted as the road to Aberdeen. We soon leave town then run alongside a wood before reaching a sharp left-right zigzag; we end up on more-or-less the same alignment as before.
After going round the side of a hill there's a sharp right-hand bend. We continue past Skene School before ending at a crossroads on the A944, where Aberdeen-bound traffic turns left. The unclassified road ahead passes the Loch of Skene en route to the B9119.
