The B9118 is a short link road in east Banffshire. The road keeps to the north of the River Deveron, and runs along its bank for much of the distance.
Approaching the B9118
Starting at a fork on the B9022 a short distance north of the old Rothiemay station, the B9118 drops down to the bank of the River Isla, which soon meets the River Deveron. It stays on the bank of the river as they curve to the east, below fields and woodland. The river then forks around a wooded island before it meanders away just before the road enters Milltown. The B9118 continues ahead into the centre of this small village, where it TOTSOs left with an unclassified road in front of the church, and soon after terminates on the B9117 at another TOTSO junction. The road ahead returns to the B9022.
