The B181 is a short road in south County Londonderry. It was originally unclassified but gained its number in the late 1920s.
The road starts on the B18 to the north of Coagh and heads northeast along a straight road across the fields. We soon enter The Loup, where we meet the B18 again; that road, which crosses us here at a staggered crossroads, has taken a longer route via Moneymore to the west.
There's more of the same after we return to open country. We go through a small wood but the majority of the road is lined with open fields. Presently the road ends at a T-junction on the B160. Some maps claim the road to the left to the B40 in the centre of Magherafelt is also part of the B181 but signs disagree.
