The B404 is a short B-road in central London.
It starts on the A401 Shaftesbury Avenue to the south of High Holborn. It heads south along Monmouth Street; half way along it reaches the Seven Dials junction where the famous sundial column acts as a roundabout.
The road crosses the B402 at a junction where six roads meet (although this time there are traffic lights) before continuing along St Martin's Lane past a number of theatres. The spire of St Martin-in-the-Fields is visible in the distance; the B404 used to end by the church on Trafalgar Square but the southernmost block is now pedestrianised and so the road ends one block north on William IV Street.
