Bordesley Circus is Junction 18 of the Birmingham Middle Ring.
Like a lot of junctions in Birmingham, it was built through the middle of a dense industrial area.
The junction was originally an ordinary roundabout, but as part of the "Pinch Point" scheme, construction to signalise the roundabout and add a one-way filter lane from the A45 northbound to the A4540 northbound commenced in June 2015[1].
