Round Toll is a large roundabout where the B762 and B769 cross on the western edge of Pollokshaws. It takes its name from the unusual round toll house which now stands in the centre of the roundabout, but previously stood in the south east corner of the crossroads. All four approaches to the junction are dual carriageway, with three or four turning lanes. The widening of the western arm of the B762 requiring an additional bridge under the railway line, although as far as can be ascertained this was done many years ago and both spans match.
The current roundabout was built between 1968 and 1972, replacing an older crossroads. The southern arm of this crossroads was the unclassified Kennishead Road, which has now been diverted to meet the B762 to the west of the railway bridges, and its own old bridge is now just a footbridge. When the roundabout was built, the A736 still came this way, approaching from the west on Barrhead Road and turning north on Pollokshaws Road. The B769 terminated at the junction from the east on Nether Auldhouse Road, although it still really approached from the south on Thornliebank Road. The construction of the roundabout saw the B769 realigned to give a straight approach to the new junction.
