The B9062 is a short B-road in the north of the Orkney island of Stronsay.
The road starts at Sandybank, where the B9060 TOTSOs to reach the ferry and our road heads north, signposted to the airfield.
The majority of the B9062 is dead-straight. It runs along the ridge down the centre of the island and climbs to the top of John's Hill, the highest point in the area. The road to the airfield turns off to the right but the B9062 continues ahead. Its original 1922 northern end was at the next bend (the first actual bend on the road's route). In more recent years, however, it has been extended to the next bend. Both these termini are in the middle of nowhere and the new northern end serves nowhere additional, so it is not clear why the road was extended. The next building is a short distance further on.
