Barnsdale Bar is a major road junction in Yorkshire, where a section of the A1, dualled in 1961 and sandwiched between two busy layers of A1(M), meets the A639. Originally a simple T junction, it was eventually grade separated in 1985 due to being a notorious accident spot.
The A6201 was connected into the junction in 2009.
It is a very short distance from where South, West and North Yorkshire all meet.
