Biggleswade South Roundabout is the southernmost of the A1's Bedfordshire roundabouts.
In 2014 the roundabout was widened to the west to potentially allow space for the provision of a future flyover and access to proposed commercial area to the west. The improvement scheme included the reconstruction of the existing roundabout from a two lane to a three lane circulatory carriageway. An additional lane was provided to the north and southbound approach dual carriageways as well as a new west arm off the ovalabout junction.
