Muirmont Junction

Muirmont Junction is junction 9 of the M90, and serves the small town of Bridge of Earn which lies alongside the motorway to the north west. It is a simple Diamond interchange layout with the motorway passing over the A912. The four sliproads are angled to prevent direct crossroads on the A912, instead there are slight staggers and the two onslips have lengthy left turn approaches which diverge from the A912 some distance from the right turn entries. These two right turns are provided with back-to-back turning lanes in the centre of the A912, which swap over under the motorway. All four sliproads are lined as two lanes apart from at the merge/diverge on the M90.
