Laurencekirk Riding School Crossroads is where the A90 forms the Laurencekirk Bypass whereas the A937 branches into town. The junction has attracted much notoriety due to a number of fatal crashes and other accidents in the early 2000s. There has been a long-running campaign to have a grade-separated junction installed here, and in 2016 it was confirmed by Transport Scotland that work will take place to design a new junction. Construction is expected not to take place until the end of the decade.
