Lochlands Junction lies on the A90 at the south end of the Forfar Bypass. It is an at-grade T junction with the A932, although the presence of an unclassified road (more of a farm track) technically makes it a crossroads. A central reservation gap allows traffic to turn right off of the A90 in either direction, but while farm traffic can also turn right onto the A90, the A932 is left turn only to head south. It is no surprise that the A932 is not signed for Forfar when heading northbound on the A90, as the subsequent Glamis Junction is grade-separated and less risky. Southbound on the A90, the junction is signed for Forfar, although the chances are that most traffic has used one of the previous three junctions to reach the town. A minor road does turn off the A932 a little to the east, however, and heads east to Craichie and Letham.
