Route
The B3118 is described in the 1922 list as Link at Norton Malreward (Northern Branch), although the road was in the hamlet of Belluton. Norton Malreward is a small village on the far side of Settle Hill over two miles away by road and not apparently connected to Belluton (which is in the parish of Publow).
History
In 1922, this very short unnamed road was classified as the B3118. However, in the documents from the 1935 renumberings it is stated that, along with the B3117, the proposal is to renumber it as a 'split end' of the B3130, which is its current number. Indeed, the parallel Belluton Lane, the original eastern end of the B3117, is now closed so through traffic uses the ex-B3118.
