The B6410 is a link road to the south east of Rotherham. It was not on the original 1922 Road Lists, but was in place by the end of the 1920s.
The road starts on the A6021 by the Herringthorpe recreation ground and heads southeast along the suburban Broom Lane. It's not long before we reach Worrygoose Roundabout, where we meet the A631 and A6123, after which we continue along Worrygoose Lane. To begin with the road looks the same as before but we soon appear to leave the houses behind; in actual fact they're hiding behind a hedge on the right and occasionally become visible.
It's not long before there's a sharp left-hand bend and we enter open country proper. We climb the winding Royds Moor Hill then both straighten and level out. Presently we come into sight of houses again and the road ends at a T-junction on the B6060.
