The DfT Card Index from C2002 lists the B3131 as 'Frome - Local Route . (Locks Hill, Rossiters Hill, Rossiters Road.)' While it is highly unlikely that this route survived the construction of the Frome Bypass, it is regularly marked on maps as an un-numbered B road throughout the 1960s and 70s. The route is now unclassified, but still a useful route connecting the south and west of the town with the station and nearby retail parks.
