The northern end of the former B6086 (now A6102)
The B608x routes are all to the north-east of Sheffield City Centre or leading along routes in that direction, although the original B6086 no longer exists.
It started on the A630 (now A6178) Attercliffe Common and headed southeastwards through Greenland. After meeting the B6085 it ended on the A57 (now B6200) Main Road.
The road was quickly upgraded to Class I status, and had become part of Sheffield Outer Ring Road (along with Prince of Wales Road), by the time of the 1924-25 Ministry of Transport map. It became the A6102, which it remains.
