Keyway Junction is located at the junction of A454 and A463 to the east of Wolverhampton. It consists of a grade separated roundabout interchange.
It is the merge point between the Black Country Route, which forms a southern bypass of Wolverhampton, The Keyway towards the city centre, and the M6 motorway at junction 10.
This junction was originally designed to be located slightly to the southwest on the Bilston Link Motorway, and its motorway-class spur forming the western side of the Willenhall Bypass. The final plans before cancellation of the motorway would have been a small modified directional-T interchange at this location, but earlier plans simply featured a fork junction with access to and from the Walsall and M6 direction only.
