Oxford Street Island is a busy light-controlled roundabout located at the intersection of A41 and A463 in Bilston, in the southeast of Wolverhampton.
It was constructed in the late 1980s along with the A463 Black Country Route which passes between M6 Junction 10 and the A4123, and is located at the eastern end of the stretch bypassing Bilston town centre.
However, despite the Black Country Route being a descendant of the previous Bilston Link Motorway proposals, this junction would not have been constructed under those plans, as the motorway would have crossed the A41 further to the southeast at the junction with Vulcan Road.
