A very, very, very short route, the B5389 formerly comprised the southernmost end of Rutland Street in Leicester, connecting the A426 and A50 with the A6. This route must post date the move of the A6 to the east, as it has a 5-zone number. However, the slightly longer B6442 one street to the north clearly predates this move. This road is so short that it isn't even coloured as a B road on the one inch maps.
